Overview Milliman's Indianapolis Health Practice is seeking a Child Welfare Associate, Medicaid who will advise public sector clients on rate setting and financing for child welfare and related children's behavioral health programs. Projects will include analysis of child welfare and children's behavioral health program design, payment rate development, and analysis of provider/agency financial information. The ideal candidate has professional project management experience combined with knowledge of social service and other public health programs. This person will work with actuarial, finance, and other consultants, on a routine basis, as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. Responsibilities In this role, you will:

The Team The Indianapolis Health Practice provides tailored support to clients on a range of behavioral health and child welfare initiatives. We assist states with behavioral health policy, programming, rate setting and finance needs, customizing our solutions to each client's unique context. Recognizing the interplay between multiple funding sources and authorities, we use a holistic and multifaceted approach to addressing the unique needs of diverse stakeholders. As behavioral health becomes increasingly critical, Milliman is committed to helping communities and states navigate their pressing behavioral health challenges across the continuum of care. Location This role is based out of the Milliman office in Indianapolis, IN but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.
