We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech II - 3rd Shift

Hours: 35hrs

Shift: Night shift, 9:00pm - 7:00am with weekend and holiday rotation; 7 days on, 7 days off

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Pharmacy or designee, fill carts and check to ensure that the correct medications are placed in the appropriate quantities in the correct patient bin. Accurately fill IVs in a properly labeled bag with the corresponding order sheet. Notify the pharmacist as needed of any issues or concerns identified during the cart checking or filling process, such as missing doses or duplicate meds. Monitor and replenish medications and other pharmaceutical supplies in all patient care areas and automated dispensing machines, removing any expired meds.

• High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
• Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.
• One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

USD $18.50 - USD $27.27 /Hr.
