A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source. Summary: The International Admissions Counselor reports to the Director of International Admissions and will be responsible for supporting the full international enrollment cycle, from recruitment, admission, nurture and retention of international students with special emphasis on first-year applications. Represents the university to prospective students, their families, school guidance counselors, and other educational constituents. Reviews applications, communicate admissions decisions, and track outcomes of admissions offers to meet enrollment goals. The counselor will also be responsible for an assigned portfolio of prospective students to include first year freshman and/or transfer students and may need to travel regionally and internationally. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with two years of directly related experience. Experience working in international admissions, recruitment, foreign credential evaluation, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
