IT Manager Digital Workplace Services US

IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY

As the IT Manager Digital Workplace Services US, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading Digital Workplace activities for Gentherm locations in the US region. In this position, you will lead programs and participate in the development and execution of digital strategies. This position requires a strong commitment to achieving set objectives, consistency in delivering results, and commitment to key digital strategies. This is a manager position with direct reports which require leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and conflict resolution experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the IT strategies, driving use of operational and hardware standards.
  • Lead and execute digital workplace programs and initiatives for the region and/or company, as assigned.
  • Act as an escalation point for all sites in the region. Be accountable regionally for the support of any operational and project activity.
  • Stakeholder management: identify key contacts (site leaders, peers and managers within IT, etc) and maintain the relationship, act as a regional point of contact between the business and IT.
  • Own and lead operational domains within the Digital Workplace Services team, as aligned by senior management.
  • Develop and refine IT User Support processes to align with ITSM standards and best practices.
  • Serve as focal point for employee technology and service satisfaction within region.
  • Leverage ServiceNow, performance metrics, and other dashboards to drive deeper insights into data. Work with team to ensure incidents, service requests, and tasks are resolved in timely manner.
  • Assist with yearly budget planning and in the budgeting and cost management for local and global projects.
  • Continue to develop supplier relations, ordering of equipment and mature procurement operations and warehousing.
  • Join meetings with global leaders. Join regular meetings where you may need to present regional progress.
  • Own the delivery of programs and department wide initiatives and assure IT policies are followed through.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or similar technical degree.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in technical role with at least three years supporting senior leaders.
  • Minimum of three years in a leadership position hiring, coaching, mentoring.
  • Minimum of three years leading IT initiatives at a regional level.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing facilities and Operational IT.
  • Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot tin the following areas:

    • PC / Desktop Repair
    • Technically fluent with Windows 11 Enterprise, domains, conferencing systems
    • LAN/WAN/WLAN (Switching, Routing, Wi-Fi and other Network technologies)


  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to perform trainings on Digital Workplace technologies and platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading IT initiatives at a regional and global level
  • ITIL Certification
  • Comfortable presenting content in front of manager and executive staff
  • Fluent in speaking/writing in English
