This position will be at our Mineral Right production facility located in Phillipsburg, KS. Primary Function
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, reviewing and streamlining the manufacturing of mineral filtration media (Crystal-Right Media) to meet all quality and compliance standards.Additionally, this role is to facilitate Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security functions and compliance. Responsibilities
Quality/Testing Responsibilities: Determine the quality of the finished product, the capacity, gradation of the media, that it has been properly disinfected and is overall approved for sale Check inbound COA's for suitability of application Develop the means of the tracking system for the production of media Determine the physical parameter of incoming raw water used in manufacturing daily Make and supply hardness challenge water for hardness testing Develop and maintain databases which track the history of production, In coming raw materials, quality assurance data, water usage, discharge water history , etc Research the cause of product failures in the field by analyzing returned product samples Answer production information questions to customers who call in or refer to the appropriate contact Provide guidance on product development and enhancements as requested EHSS Responsibilities: Review, update, and/or create new safety programs suitable for employee training to meet Local, State and Federal rules and regulations more fully. Review and update current production procedures to reflect safety concerns Develop SOPs & Job Safety Analysis documents Assist the Plant Manager in training production and maintenance employees Maintain the SDS program Complete the EHS reports Where possible, review opportunities to reduce and/or eliminate environmental risk potential & work on developing environmental awareness programs Qualifications
