Manufacturing Summer Intern

Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing
in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for an Manufacturing Intern
at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.
POSITION SUMMARY
The function of the Intern is to develop the skills/capabilities necessary to perform as a long -term, fulltime
employee within the manufacturing organization at Marinette Marine or within the Marine Group. In
fulf illing this function the individual will assist the various disciplines and manufacturing supervisors with
special assignments, becoming familiar with Marinette Marine manufacturing standards and enabling
them to fulf ill their internship for their school and/or resume, where this may be a requirement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) development and
responding to the customer's comments. This may include cross functional team work with Safety,
PP&C, Engineering, QA, and Program Management.
* Assist in the completion of craf t testing, including start -up, dockside and sea trials as necessary.
* Microsof t suite support.
* Drawing checking or data processing.
* Other duties as determined by management.
* Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
