Job Description:

Rite-Hite, a global leader in industrial safety and environmental control solutions, is looking for an Applications Engineer to support our innovative DuctSox product line in Dubuque, IA.

DuctSox fabric air dispersion systems are a cutting-edge alternative to traditional metal ductwork. In this role, you'll play a key part in the design and technical support process, helping our sales and engineering teams deliver custom HVAC solutions across a wide range of industries.

What You'll Do:

  • Create CAD drawings, layouts, and 3D models for DuctSox applications
  • Support field sales and regional managers with technical design input
  • Translate project specs and plans into effective, budget-conscious system designs
  • Develop Bills of Material and documentation for procurement and manufacturing
  • Participate in interdepartmental meetings and occasional jobsite visits

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or PE certification with equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of strength of materials, statics, and fabrication processes
  • Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • HVAC industry or custom product experience is a plus
