Title:IT Business Analyst
Reports to:Director, Business Solutions, Information Technology
Department:Genie IT

Location: Preference is for Bothell, WA but open to other sites close to a Terex office

Travel: Willing and able to travel as needed

The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Genie Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Parts & Services business functions and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.The ideal candidate will analyze business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions; assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology; translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications; and advise the IT teams on the direction of the business.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Genie Business and IT teams to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business and technical requirements

  • Develop an understanding of how solutions will impact present and future business needs

  • Work with end users to determine needs (data, screens, processes, reports) and develop scope

  • Draft detailed specifications that reflects the user's needs

  • Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications and make recommendations where improvements can be made

  • Support the implementation of systems to create an experience that positions Terex as the first choice among peers

  • Partner with business users to document test cases and conduct user acceptance testing

  • Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures

  • Coordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

What you'll bring

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum three years' experience, preferably in a Business Analyst role.

  • Solid background in business enablement through technology

  • Previous experience with ERP (functions like order management, warehouse management, fulfillment andtransportation) and CRM applications from an implementation / support perspective is desirable

  • Analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within IT and business teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional relationship building skills

  • Organized and flexible to changing business priorities

  • Action and results oriented

  • Excellent presentation and listening skills

  • Ability to work well with people from many different cultures and disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience over geographically dispersed locations

  • Willingness to take ownership of issues and ensure all interested parties are kept informed of progress in order to deliver solutions

  • Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust

Salary: The salary range for this position is $71,200.00 -$106,800 USD. The salary range may be higher or lower depending on the applicant's location.
