Job Description

Barilla America, Inc. wants to recruit a Shopper Marketing Senior Analyst to join our Sales team. This individual will reporting to the Shopper Marketing Manager.

This is a hybrid role based out of Northbrook, IL.


Job Purpose:

The Shopper Marketing Senior Analyst is responsible for the implementation of shopper marketing programs & strategies in alignment with brand & retailer objectives.



Key Accountabilities:


  • Implementation of Shopper Marketing programming at the customer level.
    Review and approve executional elements (artwork, copy, etc.) across Shopper Marketing programs at the customer level.
  • Collaboration with Field Sales, Sales Directors, Category Management, Supply Chain teams to ensure Shopper Marketing programs are aligned with business & operating plans.
    Manage agency resources to ensure timely development of Shopper Marketing programming at the customer level.
  • Work with agency and vendor partners to complete post program analysis / score-carding across Shopper Marketing programs.
  • Manage Shopper Marketing budget at the customer level and remain accountable for delivering program volume & ROI objectives.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Marketing teams to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams to inform and build brand equity.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to coordinate national and customer specific activity.
  • Supports Sales and Consumer Marketing Teams in identifying Customer growth opportunities.
  • Oversight of vendor and tactic evaluation to optimize future customer programming.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Desired Skills and Background:

* Bachelor's degree required. MBA degree a strong plus.
* 3+ years of Shopper Marketing, Brand, Integrated Marketing, and or Agency Experience
* Consumer packaged goods experience required, ideally in food manufacturing.
* Strong project management skills
* Previous experience working across Digital Commerce a plus.
* Experience working with Nielsen data and data analysis.
* Previous co-marketing experience a strong plus.
* Proven ability to multi-task and organize the management of co-marketing/consumer promotion execution.
* High energy, strong communication and interpersonal skills to function effectively in a team environment.
* Commitment to results; ability to incorporate new learning into existing plans and act decisively.
* Strong ability to work in teams and build good working relationships
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
* Role requires to individual to be in office 50% of the time.
* Ability to travel up to 25%.

As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is $80-$90k, plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan. The actual pay for the position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity. This range may be subject to change over time.
