Saw Operator (1st Shift)

Responsible for operating saws to cut and shape material for a variety of uses. The saw operator must be precise and accurate on their cutting to ensure that the finished product meets the quality standards. Other warehouse duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

Specific Responsibilities

* Ability to read tape measures.

* Operate and set up the saw machine to cut materials accurately.

* Set stops or guides to specified lengths.

* Ability to read and understand prints and tolerances.

* Inspect materials for quality and accuracy.

* Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment.

* Assist co-workers as needed.

* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Requirements

* Prefer 1+ years' experience.

* Physically fit - able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively.

* Able to read tape measure in 1/32" increments.

* Good relations, communication skills, and must be able to interact well with co-workers and management.

* Must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to work flexible hours and weekends as required.
