HOLT CAT is excited to offer a summer internship in our Machine Sales department. This 12-week program provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in our dealership's operations. You will work with different departments, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights into the Heavy Equipment industry.

Throughout this dynamic internship, you will learn from experienced professionals and understand our legendary customer service and values-based leadership framework. The primary goal is to facilitate your learning and development. By the end, you will present your findings on the sales lifecycle to our team.

Essential Functions:



  • Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from leadership
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write, and understand work instructions


Education and Experience:



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree program with a current emphasis in Agriculture, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Must be actively enrolled in a University or College program with an anticipated graduation year of 2026-2027
  • Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA


Travel:



  • No travel is expected for this position


Physical Requirements:



  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations


Work Environment:



  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
