Summary CAE USA, Defense & Security welcomes experienced engineers in aerospace and software engineering to help train U.S. Armed Forces and those of our partners around the world. This is a rewarding mission you will be proud to support. You will design, develop, test, and integrate real-time aero and aircraft systems simulations for military training devices. This is a hands-on, full life cycle software engineering position for software engineers who desire to grow their skills and career beyond traditional boundaries while creating enduring solutions for a truly meaningful purpose. This position is to join our Passive Sensors team with a focus on simulating Targeting Pods and Electronic Warfare solutions for our military training devices. As a Software Engineer, the candidate is expected to contribute to the development and deployment of training systems, networking, interfacing with platform simulation applications, and general product-level integration and troubleshooting. The candidate should be able to follow the direction of lead engineers, complete assigned work with limited guidance on technical direction, and work in a team environment. The candidate should also be able to communicate status/issues along with solutions/recommendations to lead engineers, and update or develop software support documentation as required. This position requires assisting with the development of technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions must be imaginative, thorough, practical, and consistent with organizational objectives and processes. Security Responsibilities Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
