As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Via Linda Behavioral Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; and procuring drugs. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Starting Pay: $20-$25/hour (based on recent work experience).
Schedule: This per diem position will provide coverage for PTO, weekends and holidays as needed. There are no regularly scheduled hours for this position.
About the Facility: Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a new behavioral hospital that is excited to begin offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the Scottsdale, Arizona population and the greater Phoenix region. Our 120-bed facility offers specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens and adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-2:30pm. Limited weekend hours will be available in the future. The pharmacy utilizes Omnicell and HCS including E-Mar and CPOE.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • PTCB certification in good standing
  • Current Arizona fingerprint card
  • Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
  • Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Hepatitis B3 Series or declination
  • (Flu) Influenza - required for hires between October 1st - April 30th
  • COVID-Full
