Authorized Reseller Specialist

Otter Products is hiring for an Authorized Reseller Specialist to join our brand protection team. This role can work remotely in the US.

This Authorized Reseller Specialist will participate in the continued development and implementation of brand protection strategy which may include researching and investigating authorized resellers and distributors for diverted product. This role will ensure resellers for all products within the Otter Products family of companies are properly approved by receiving and processing all applications from resellers and maintaining an audit process for ongoing compliance. The Authorized Reseller Specialist will initiate and interpret product searches and use that data to uniltaerally enforce Otter Products' Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy.

Responsible for the receipt and review of new reseller applications for Otter Products family of companies
• Maintain Brand Protection and MAP web pages with up-to-date and relevant information
• Respond to daily inquiries from distributors and Sales team regarding the Authorized Reseller Program (ARP) including answering questions on final application status and conducting informational meetings as needed
• Maintain weekly whitelist of approved resellers and provide daily and monthly communication to distributors regarding authorized reseller application status
• Daily enforcement of MAP including but not limited to sending notices to resellers and/or distributors of potential violations
• Monthly review and reconciliation of sales reports against distributors' whitelists
• Maintain detailed records in the Brand Protection database including application status
• Audit authorized online resellers for quality compliance and initiate corrective action with non-compliant resellers
• Partner with sales team regarding account-managed accounts and distributors to ensure quality compliance with the authorized reseller program
• Research unauthorized product distribution and initiate the internal corrective action process if necessary
• Participate in the identification of unauthorized online marketplace sellers and enforcement activities including the creation of appropriate communication of identified violations and compliance follow-up activities
• Partner with merchandising team regarding enforcement of off-MAP promotions
• Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
• Other duties as required

• Bachelor's degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Minimum of three years of experience of intellectual property protection, managing compliance with business policies, administration or customer service/account onboarding required.
• Experience with reviewing contracts preferred.
• Consumer goods company experience preferred.
• Brand protection and/or intellectual property enforcement experience preferred.
