This position is responsible for providing quality closing loan documentation for secondary market loans.
As a Mortgage Closing Specialist, you will:
- Process secondary market closing documents on Encompass and Ellie Mae software, verifying the accuracy of these documents.
- Work with title company and lender to ensure accurate final documents.
- Review final loan approval conditions.
- Complete disbursement sheet and upload sheet at closing and do the final balance at the time of loan closing.
- Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Associate Degree in Administration or Finance related field of study preferred.
- 1-3 years mortgage processing required; 3+ years mortgage processing or underwriting experience preferred.
- Proficiency with computer, phone system, and general office equipment
- Ability to learn and become proficient with Microsoft Office suite and other mortgage specific software applications.
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work rapidly and accurately in fast-paced environment.
