This position is primarily responsible for building and maintaining the data used for operational efficiency, project analysis, and ad-hoc operational analytics.

As a Data Solutions Engineer, you will:


  • Initiate and participate in projects providing process improvements, requirements, design, testing and implementation.
  • Assist with data aggregation between multiple datasets with varying data structures aimed at creating efficient data streams for analytics.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analytics with leaders by request.
  • Identify and maximize systems that are appropriate for the business area supported (including but not limited to Operations, Retail, Commercial, Wealth, IT, and Finance).
  • Leverage current and new system functionality and apply these capabilities to improve current business processes (systems such as Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, RPA Tools, etc.).
  • Evaluate and resolve issues and errors found within systems, maintaining the credibility and integrity of the data.
  • Design and maintain critical reports used across a multitude of areas within company.
  • Collaborate with others in a team setting, either directly or indirectly
  • Work across many different enterprise systems / processes while maintaining company confidential information standards
  • Additional related duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or General Business
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, technology or computer science preferred.
  • Banking industry experience a plus.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong logic-based skills (math, reasoning, analytical, decision-making).
  • Ability to formulate & execute basic to complex mathematical formulas to perform analysis that supports process efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Salesforce and other analytical tools
  • Exposure to Tableau / SQL / Alteryx / Snowflake is a plus
