The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for leading high-level account management and strategic growth initiatives within the Re-Rent customer segment. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at major Re-Rent accounts, including but not limited to, United Rentals, Sunbelt Rentals, Aggreko, Equipment Share, and Herc. The NAM plays a critical role in shaping the overall customer experience and driving sales performance in alignment with organizational goals.

* Strategic Account Management

Develop and sustain strong relationships with decision makers and leadership across all major Re-Rent customers, above the Branch Manager level. Overall customer experience is an integral part of this role and includes understanding the perception the customer has of Sunbelt Solomon and working through internal and external challenges to consistently achieve a positive customer perception.

* Cross-Selling Opportunities

Be well versed in all the other equipment sales and service capabilities of the Sunbelt Solomon group and promote these options at every opportunity.

* Sales Process Support

Partner with internal teams to provide sales support, generate leads, create and manage opportunities, and support customer interactions. Assist with conflict resolution and ensure alignment between customer needs and internal resources.

* Business Development:

Schedule and manage large scale customer meetings / events. Uncover and manage customer training opportunities.

* A/R Support:

Work with the assigned Re-Rent customers to maintain average payment of 60 days or less. Work in conjunction with the sales team and finance team to support invoice disputes, missing PO's, accurate rental start and end dates.

* Competitor and Market Analysis

Investigating, documenting, communicating, and strategizing on competitor and market information for the power rental industry is an expectation and is a key factor in being successful in the role.

* CRM Data Integrity

Maintain the data integrity in the CRM, in a timely manner, from Contact-Account-Opportunity.

* Development and Execution of Sales Strategy

Working with the National Rental Sales Manager, an annual sales plan will be developed, and execution of the plan will be the responsibility of the NAM. Throughout the year, as markets and the competitive landscape change, the NAM is expected to make suggestions and changes to the plan accordingly.

* Travel

The expectation is to be "out of town" 40-50% of the time. This could be for tradeshows, customer site visits, presentations, etc.

* Other duties may be required to support the team as required by the Company's needs.

* Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills

* Excellent time management skills

* Understanding of temporary power products and services

* Experience with the SAPB1 ERP (considered an asset)

* Experience working in a CRM (Salesforce experience would be considered an asset)

* Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills

* Strong computer literacy is essential with intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite of products

* Exceptional telephone manner

* Ability to work collaboratively within the Sales and Operations team

* High degree of professionalism and maturity

* Ability to take direction and accept responsibility

* Ability to work independently and under pressure

* Able to work a flexible schedule, including working beyond regular hours
