Job Summary
The Endpoint Systems Engineer is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-wide user endpoint systems, devices, and management solutions.
Primary Objectives
- Design, configure, and oversee deployment of user endpoint management systems, patches, and updates to ensure reliable and efficient device performance.
- Recommend and monitor compliance with security policies for user endpoint devices, such as encryption, access controls, and threat detection measures.
- Leverage scripting and automation tools to streamline device provisioning, application deployment, and system updates.
- Provide advanced technical support to resolve endpoint-related issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain user endpoint management platforms.
- Develop and deploy standardized images for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual machines.
- Automate and manage software deployments, updates, and patches across all endpoints.
- Monitor endpoint performance and resolve issues impacting user productivity.
- Analyze and improve user endpoint configurations to enhance performance, minimize downtime, and comply with related policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Partner with application owners and business stakeholders to ensure endpoint readiness for new software deployments.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and IT teams to implement and enforce security configurations for endpoint devices, including encryption, antivirus/antimalware, and vulnerability management tools.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents affecting endpoints.
- Provide advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues, collaborating with Service Desk and other IT teams as needed.
- Document processes and provide training for IT support teams regarding endpoint management tools and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of endpoint devices in the asset management system.
- Manage hardware lifecycle processes, including procurement, provisioning, decommissioning, and disposal.
- Monitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.
- Participate in scheduled rotations of after-hours on-call support.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications preferred
Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on endpoint management required
- Experience using imaging, scripting, remote access tools, consoles, and desktop management tools required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Applied knowledge of endpoint technologies and security tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT security principles and risk mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and Active Directory.
- Proficiency with endpoint management tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of information security, compliance, and IT audit requirements.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, materials, and knowledge bases.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues using innovative research and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate on cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and details to a non-technical audience, including leadership.
- Ability to communicate in technical terms with departmental staff.
- Demonstrated intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- Work schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

20% Must be able to travel independently U.S. locations including Hawaii.

Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.
Zone 1: $110,000 - $130,000
