Ensure work is performed in accordance with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) procedures, the project work plan, company environmental and safety standards, and as required by project-specific permitting. Review contractor qualifications, ensuring qualifications to perform required tasks. Coordinate work activities with contractors and contractor inspection companies ensuring quality work and efficient use of resources. Complete company forms, creates as-built data, and obtains GPS data. Record wall and coating thicknesses, anomaly dimensions, soil resistivity, and P/S readings. Communicate work activities with the Gas Control and Measurement Group. Work with the Environmental Compliance Coordinator, ensuring environmental compliance through scheduling site inspections and acquiring samples for testing. Ensure materials are disposed of properly.
Who you are: You have:
A High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years' experience with pipeline construction methods. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities with the demonstrated ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to prioritize the workload and manage multiple projects. Ability to create as-built drawings of construction projects Basic mathematical skills. Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer, mobile devices and Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Demonstrate ability to communicate professionally and effectively in varying situations with business partners, customers, and contractors. Operate data acquisition equipment in recording GPS Data. Record data with coating and UT gauges and anomaly measurements, utilizing pit gauges. Utilize multimeter and half-cell for P/S readings and pipe locator to mark lines. Operate digital pressure, test recorders. Demonstrate self-motivation by showing the ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team. Lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds independently.

Knowledge of safety practices and procedures, OSHA standards, PHMSA (CFR 192) and FERC regulations. Knowledge of the Company's Operating and Maintenance and Department of Transportation 192 procedures. Experience directing the work of others. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outside in varying weather conditions (i.e. cold, heat, rain, etc.) and requires routine use of proper PPE including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, Fire Retardant (FR) clothing, and work boots per company policies. Position requires continuous travel throughout the service territory with frequent stops, entering/exiting the company vehicle, safely parking in a wide variety of situations, and driving in construction zones. Position may require travel across the Dominion Energy North Carolina service territory as project support is needed. Overnight stays may be required. Position requires prolonged use of a computer keyboard and scanner. Position may encounter agitated/irate customers.
Dominion Legacy Pay Grade - N37 Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
