About the Role:
The Marketing Specialist works across the Electrophysiology franchise to develop compelling stories and visual assets to complement key presentations. An ideal candidate is also curious about topics such as product development, clinical strategy and sales execution and will be able to manage input from multiple stakeholders so they can provide guidance on how to best visually communicate complex concepts and messages in simple, impactful ways.

In addition to acting as the visual storyteller for the Electrophysiology business unit, this person will also oversee Marketing content management, partnering with our Cardiology Marketing & Digital Enablement (CMDE) team to ensure our brand is properly conveyed across all channels and presentations. Presentation creation and asset/messaging management will involve collaboration across marketing, corporate communications, R&D, sales training, investor relations and more.

Your responsibilitiess will include:



  • Serve as visual storyteller for the Electrophysiology business unit - understand key divisional narratives and initiatives, and weave these into presentations for a wide range of internal and external audiences.
  • Translate complex business objectives and data into clear and compelling visual stories that help communicate company goals and performance.
  • Work under pressure / under deadline with senior leaders and handle a wide range of tasks and projects at the same time.
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets to drive brand and messaging consistency across the division.
  • Deliver finished and approved presentations to relevant stakeholders in support of the strategic planning process, annual operating plan, sales meetings and other major events throughout the calendar year.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and possesses a strong knowledge of both contemporary design principles and presentation design strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional as well as upstream and downstream marketing teams on content and messaging requests.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or similar field
  • 3+ years of experience as a presentation designer or content designer in an agency or in-house setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Exceptional eye for design and aesthetics to create well-thought-out presentations



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Interest in learning complex topics and markets
  • Experience with standard design tools including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator - demonstrated ability able to use these tools to generate visual assets for presentations
  • Comfort operating in a highly matrixed organization
  • Exceptional attention to detail

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
