About the Role:
The Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Professional Services Engineer supports the planning, installation, and configuration of HPE infrastructure solutions across enterprise customer environments. The ideal candidate will possess current HPE Solutions Qualifications (SolQs) and proven hands-on experience delivering HPE services to enterprise clients. The role leverages computer systems background and knowledge of theoretical and practical systems analysis techniques and procedures in order to successfully integrate computer systems with customer's existing system and needs.
What You'll Do:
Deliver installation and configuration services across HPE product lines including Synergy, SimpliVity, Nimble dHCI, Apollo, StoreFabric, and Alletra/Primera platforms. Execute service engagements based on HPE delivery datasheets, including hardware racking/cabling, network integration, and software setup. Conduct Installation Verification Tests (IVTs), ensure firmware compliance, and perform pre-installation planning reviews. Collaborate with project managers and customers to ensure smooth and successful implementations. Provide customer orientation and handoff as required per service delivery guidelines Effectively and efficiently communicate with customer to ensure quality results are delivered based on their program requirements

Required HPE Solutions Qualifications (SolQs): * SolQ_111 - HPE Synergy Installation and Service Qualification Preferred HPE Solutions Qualifications (SolQs): Candidates holding any of the following active HPE certifications are strongly preferred: * SolQ_122 - HPE SimpliVity Hardware Service and Solution Qualification * SolQ_151 - HPE Nimble Storage dHCI Service and Solution Qualification * SolQ_149 - HPE Apollo Service and Solution Qualification * SolQ_125 - HPE StoreFabric M-Series Ethernet Switches Qualification * SolQ_172 - HPE Primera and Alletra 9000 Qualification Possesses clear and effective communication skills with customer, colleagues, and management Familiarity with systems integration, documentation, and planning procedures.
Experience: * 5+ years of experience with HPE infrastructure and storage deployments in enterprise environments. * Strong understanding of data center best practices, server/storage/network integration, and customer-facing support. * Proficient with tools such as HPE OneView, InfoSight, iLO, and SimpliVity Deployment Manager. * Experience with VMware (vCenter), networking (VLANs, jumbo frames), and SAN (iSCSI/FC) environments. * Ability to travel to customer sites as needed (up to 80% travel may be required).
