Fox News Media's Assignment Desk and Fox News Edge work in coordination to obtain news content for all Fox News Media platforms and affiliate stations. The purpose of the Content Partnership Associate is to collaborate with external network partners to aggressively seek and obtain live breaking news feeds and tape content for all platforms. The Content Partnership Associate serves as the primary contact between Fox News Media and other network partners, including the NNS partnership with ABC and CBS.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Key newsroom teammate during breaking news, utilizing news judgement and contacts to quickly and accurately seek and obtain live/taped video and disseminate to FOX News Media platforms.

• Develops and maintains contacts with partner news desks utilizing email, phone and in-common platforms shared with outside partners.

• Identify incoming content, determining source, location and editorial information and sharing that information with FOX News Media stakeholders via internal newsroom systems.

• Fills similar roles on the FOX News Media national assignment desk and with FOX News Edge as needed.

• Works proactively and aggressively to help FOX News Media obtain as much content and editorial information as possible on news stories of interest to the network and its affiliates.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field.

• Knowledge of newsroom systems such as iNews and live transmission systems such as LiveU, TVU, LTN and satellite transmission. Ability to learn FOX internal platforms.

• Ability to make sound editorial decisions under the time pressure that comes with breaking news.

• Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor while communicating with multiple internal and external partners.

• At least five years of network or major market affiliate newsroom experience, preferably with an assignment desk or a news service.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $70,000.00-80,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
