Duties And Responsibilities

Associate Public Relations Officer (PRO) primary responsibility is, but not limited to, to ensure that all employees joining the company complies with the Government regulations and Employment laws at all times; Associate PRO is the company inter-face and the liaise between the company and Government authorities.

Associate Public Relation Officer (PRO) supports the daily function of labour and immigration, adhering to regular amendments to rules and regulations, for Oceaneering Global Mobility Department.

Functions:
ESSENTIAL

. Coordinate and administer Government related services on behalf of the company:

o Obtain visit, business, new employment visas / work permits for all expatriate employees, and dependents, if applicable

o Monitor and renew expat employee and dependents' residence permits

o Facilitate and follow-up cancellation of visas for employees and dependents.

o Facilitate complex medical and accompany employees and dependents to medical center, if required

o Visit typing centers for the typing of labor contracts, medical forms, Emirates ID forms

o Obtain Security Pass on behalf of expat employees, if required

o Administer and application of quotas as required

o Visit and Liaise with Embassies, Airport Immigration, Police department, labour office and any other government department as required

. Coordinate, administer and business facilitation on day-to-day basis:

o Review and ensure labour contacts are in compliance with government requirements

o Administer MOHRE and Immigration portals on behalf of the company

o Liaise with the government entities, Labour and Immigration offices to ensure immigration compliance

o Liaise with government entities to confirm the most update information regarding immigration rules and regulations

Provide timely updates to the company (HR and GM) regarding any changes on labour, immigration rules and regulations

* Administer company and joint venture companies' licenses

Safety

  • Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Always promote a strong HSE culture
  • Ensure that personnel identify with and achieve, the necessary Health and Safety performance standards
    associated with the relative risks to personnel and plant in their environment and daily work
  • Ensure that business and HSE risk implications of integrity issues are clearly identified and assessed for
  • Consideration within the Oceaneering Integrity Management Team and communicated to the Client.

Other

  • Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
  • Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
  • Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications

* The candidate must have at least 5 years' experience in similar job with strong experience with

government organizations and embassies

* Educational background: at least completion of Secondary Education

* Excellent networking and interpersonal skills

* Good influencing and networking skills

* Excellent spoken and written Arabic is a must

* Good knowledge of written and spoken English

* Valid UAE Driving License

* Good computer skills (MS Office)
