Here's what you'd do:
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and excellent leadership abilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management, and external parties.
- Lead the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with product line finance leads and other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
- General Ledger Management:
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Compliance and Controls:
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve financial processes and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, optimizing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to AP and AR.
- Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare and file tax returns.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the company.
- International Entity Oversight:
- While day-to-day accounting and controllership responsibilities will fall to the local Finance Leads within the international entities of LTC and BTC, the Accounting Manager will oversee compliance with statutory audits, close and reporting process efficiency to support consolidated GAAP statements, and provide mentorship and share best practices across accounting teams.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $82,500.00 - 153,000.00
Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9-13 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, minimum 10 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- SAP experience is a nice to have but not a deal breaker.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in managing month-end and year-end close processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
