Program Analyst- Information Systems

Job Purpose:

The Program Analyst - Information Systems plays a critical role in supporting the analysis, optimization, and oversight of our organization's information systems. This position focuses on evaluating data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development and implementation of programs that enhance system efficiency, security, and overall performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop detailed reports and presentations summarizing system performance, cost efficiency, and recommended enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for optimizing information system operations.
  • Support the execution and monitoring of system-related programs, including upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and workflow improvements.
  • Conduct research on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards to inform system enhancements and ensure compliance.
  • Communicate technical findings, proposals, and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in program analysis, preferably in information systems or IT-related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on information system data and metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of information system principles, including cybersecurity, database management, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
