Job Summary: Under limited guidance, work at the business unit level developing the end-to-end solution architecture for significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. Essential Functions Responsible for leading the development of comprehensive solution architecture strategies, ensuring seamless integration of application solutions across teams and domains while maintaining robust technical foundations. The role involves collaboration with other architects to validate feasibility, oversee compliance with quality attributes, manage technical risks, and guide IT architects to enhance their solution architecture leadership skills, all while aligning with FedEx best practices and technological standards.

Domicile Information: This is a Hybrid position requiring the employee to be onsite 3 days a week at the Pittsburgh, PA location. The candidate must live within 50 miles of Pittsburgh, PA. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information Systems, business and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Minimum Experience Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement. Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
