Job Description: Central State Hospital is looking to fill afull-time Nurse Shift Supervisor position to work 7a-7p (every other weekend required.) shift differential (10%-12%) weekend premium ($1 additional) Essential Job Functions: Coordinates hospital functions and nursing services including scheduling, job assignments, responding to call-ins, responding to codes, assuring appropriate staff levels, and working on the patient units. (The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.) Required: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold a Kentucky Registered Nurse license or a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
