Description |
The Pricing Manager for Aurorium develops and implements pricing strategies that maximize our profitability and competitiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of trends, cost structures, and customers to ensure our products are priced effectively. This role supports marketing, product management, and sales teams with fact-based pricing guidance and analytics that inform strategy and operational decisions. The ideal candidate applies strategic and analytic skills to drive results and reports to the Product Director. |

Location:Role can be based at either our Zeeland, MI location or Indianapolis, IN location
Role Specific Responsibilities:
Analyzing & Strategize
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with financial goals and market conditions.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor pricing, and client needs.
- Conduct detailed cost & sales data analysis to identify trends, margin improvement opportunities, and discounting patterns.
Execute & Own
- Ensure timely execution of price changes, coordinating across functions to deliver gross margin goals for the business.
- Communicate pricing strategies and changes to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Develop and own processes & workflows that manage price across platforms (SAP, Salesforce, PowerBI).
Monitor & Achieve
- Monitor pricing performance and make adjustments to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Investigate root causes behind pricing challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop practical, data-supported solutions.
- Develop and enforce pricing governance processes, ensuring compliance & results achievement.
Compliance:
- Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
- Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
- Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times
Problem Solving and Innovation:
- Active participation in continuous improvement activities
- Participates in problem-solving
- Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
- Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members
- Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance

Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a technical field
- +5 years' experience in at least two areas out of: Revenue management, Marketing, Product management, Sales/Market strategy, or Commercial Finance
- +2 years' experience managing pricing structures across multiple sales channels
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Experience:
- Developing and implementing successful pricing strategy and discount management.
- Strong analytical, data modelling, and data analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- In-depth knowledge of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, competitive analysis, and revenue/costing principles.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with, inform, & influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Expert-level skills in Excel, and experience with SAP, Salesforce, and PowerBI.
