Ericsson is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Security Operations to lead and enhance our global security operations within the Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS). This role is pivotal in driving cross-functional security initiatives, liaison between our technical organizations (IT Security and Engineering) managing incident response, and strengthening our support to insider threat and crisis management programs.

What you will do
- Lead cross-functional security initiatives in collaboration with Ericsson Group Security and BEWS.
- Oversee BEWS Incident Response Planning, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Act as liaison between product areas and Ericsson's global organization (MA/GF).
- Conduct regular incident response exercises and manage major vulnerability communications.
- Analyze security incident trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the Global Insider Threat Management Program implementation (as required)
- Support crisis management initiatives by defining escalation paths, interconnection with Market Areas and promote crisis management exercises in BEWS.
- Collaborate with departments including Group Security, Group IT, BEWS IT, Legal, and Product.
The skills you bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience in Security Operations Programs and implementing industry best practices.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001.
- Strong background in Security Incident Management and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience with global operations and regulatory compliance.
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA.
- Advanced skills in security metrics, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
