Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic and expanding Cardiology team, which currently includes over 10 highly skilled and collaborative APPs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a comprehensive and patient-centered cardiovascular program that continues to grow in both size and scope. The Wentworth-Douglass Center for Heart Health is proud to be a member of the Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute, providing access to world-class cardiovascular care, advanced diagnostics, and specialty expertise. As part of this integrated system, we offer our patients the benefits of local care backed by the resources and innovation of a leading academic health network. The primary responsibility of this position is the supervision of cardiac stress testing, including exercise treadmill tests, nuclear stress tests, chemical/pharmacologic stress testing, and Cardiac PET/CT studies. The APP works closely with cardiac technologists and board-certified cardiologists to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective diagnostic testing in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Additional opportunities for the per diem APP may include conducting independent cardiology follow-up visits in the outpatient clinic and providing clinical support to the inpatient cardiology service, contributing to the care of hospitalized patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
