Position Overview:

The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Strategic Initiatives to support a wide range of high-impact projects-from launching an Adaptive AI-based learning school and managing student-run sports broadcasting, to supporting personalized and customized academic opportunities for students.

This individual will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and managing cutting-edge academic programs designed to provide customized learning pathways for Lipscomb Academy students, aligning with our strategic goals and Christian mission.

This is a multifaceted role combining project management, communications, research, and tech integration. It's ideal for someone with a passion for innovation, an eye for detail, and the ability to execute big ideas on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Innovation & Development



  • Support the creation and rollout of strategic academic and student programs.
  • Draft compelling proposals, strategic plans, and concept pitches for potential programs
  • Manage timelines, meeting schedules, and follow-up for multiple innovation projects


AI Integration & Academic Innovation



  • Help evaluate and implement AI tools that enhance teaching, learning, and school operations
  • Stay current on trends in ed tech and adaptive learning to inform decision-making


Marketing, Communication & Administrative Support



  • Develop promotional materials and internal communications using platforms like Canva and Google Suite
  • Assist with program storytelling, email campaigns, and digital updates
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and summary reports
  • Coordinate logistics for innovation-related meetings, campus visits, and school events
  • Assist with newsletters, presentations, and other communications as needed.
  • Assist with budgets and spending associated with strategic programming.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required; teaching and educational administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong time-management, project-management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Comfortable learning and using emerging technologies
  • Able to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously.
  • Professional, accountable, and solution-oriented.
  • Technologically proficient, including experience using AI to boost productivity.
  • Passion for educational innovation and Lipscomb Academy's mission


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with K-12 education and/or instructional technology
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in project management, innovation, education, or related areas
  • Experience with proposal writing, marketing, or program development
  • Graphic design or communications experience (e.g., Canva, video, newsletters)
  • Experience leading or supporting new programs, curriculum initiatives, or educational projects.
  • Familiarity with personalized learning models, experiential learning, or other progressive educational approaches.
  • Administrative experience - Experience managing teams or coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
