M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I Weapons Flightline
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assists with daily aircraft launch and recovery operations. Conduct daily munitions loading
operations, End-of-Runway arm and de-arm, and Basic Post Flight maintenance. May be required
to perform daily post-load requirements. Extensive knowledge of gun systems removal and
installation, Aircraft Munitions Equipment (pylons, TER, launchers, etc.). Assists in
troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft weapons and electrical systems. Repairs, replaces, and
rebuilds aircraft weapons systems, such as LRU Component removal and installation. Extensive
knowledge of all associated weapons systems supports equipment. Reads and interprets
manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering
data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing
malfunctioning or damaged components. Performs periodic and other hourly or calendar
inspections as required. Receives technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Leads or
higher-level technicians as required. May be required to obtain and maintain special certifications
as directed by management. Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or
equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make
entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. May be required to aid
writing/initiating engineering technical assistance requests. All Weapons Loaders must be able to
pass a color vision test. Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors,
leads, and more senior technicians.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 4 years performing as a USAF or sister service fighter aircraft Weapons Loader
technician with at least 1 year as F-16 Weapons Loader within the last 10 years with the following
munitions required: AIM-120 (All), AIM-9 (All), Chaff/Flare, ALE-SO, 20MM Ammunition,
AGM-65/88, LAU-117, TER-9A, BDU-33/50/56, M K-82/84, BLU-109, GBU-10/12/38/54,
CBU-87/89/103, M129 Leaflet Munition, 2.75" rockets. Working knowledge of MIS systems,
forms documentation and strict adherence to aircraft technical data is required. All Weapons
Loaders must be able to pass a color vision test
Working Conditions:
High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable
Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and
special operating instructions in the same language.
Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.
Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms).
Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.
Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.
Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).
Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled
movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.
Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing,

stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract.
