Job Summary

From recruitment and onboarding to compliance, employee engagement, and policy development, you'll wear many hats-and be trusted to take initiative and own your work. This is a great role for someone who enjoys both people and process, and who wants to make a real impact in a company that's growing and evolving. This is an onsite role based at our Eugene, Oregon facility.

Responsibilities



  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and leadership
  • Administer benefits, leave programs, and coordinate with external providers as needed
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and help foster a strong, inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, and maintain accurate employee records
  • Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping review, and HRIS maintenance
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues with empathy and fairness
  • Support performance management and training efforts
  • Help build and refine policies, procedures, and handbooks
  • Assist or conduct employee terminations and off-boarding procedures

Requirements

Qualifications



  • 2-4 years of HR generalist experience (manufacturing experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Experience with ADP Vantage payroll systems preferred
