Redwire is seeking a curious and collaborative Talent Development Assistant who is dedicated to contributing to the effectiveness and success of the greater Talent Development team. You will work directly with the Sr. Director of Development, Engagement and Performance, Talent Development team,and Human Resources Representatives to support Talent Development programs and initiatives.
Job Summary:
The Talent Development Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Talent Development (TD) team.

Responsibilities:


  • Primary administrator for the Talent Development System (TDS), Learning Management System (LMS), internally developed Redwire Talent Development applications, Survey tools and other TD systems.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date talent files in the respective Talent Development software.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard processes, system navigation, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level TD staff or management.
  • Schedules and coordinates onboarding assignments, training sessions and overall new hire engagement documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of TD files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of TD files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee engagement events, and anniversary milestone celebrations.
  • Creates and maintains team visual images for internal and external communication and engagement.
  • Provides general clerical support to the TD team related to Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Internships in addition to invoicing, purchase orders and expense requests.
  • Provides analytical review of team data for reporting purposes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Ideal Experience:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, specifically Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficient with Canva or related software.


Desired Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Prior related office experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
