Position Title: Line Worker Wage: $18.24/Hour Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday - Friday Driven, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Line Worker with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and teamwork in a fast-paced food production environment. Experienced in visually inspecting and grading products, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and company standards, and thriving in rotating roles across multiple production areas. Known for reliability, outstanding attendance, and a hands-on approach to ensuring product excellence and operational efficiency. Ready to adapt, communicate, and contribute to exceeding customer expectations every day. Line Worker Responsibilities: - Estimate weight of product visually - Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products - Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas; add supplemental product in order to bring original product into specifications - Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues - Rotate through various positions on the Appetizer line - May be directed to help out in other areas of the plant as required by production demands - Maintain a safe and clean work area - Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices Requirements for Line Worker: - Walk; stand; use hands, fingers, and arms to handle, feel, and reach - Regularly exposed to wet, warm, humid, and cold temperatures and loud noise levels - Regularly lift and/or move up to 35lbs - Work in multiple areas of the plant and work in a cool environment (50-55 degrees) - Excellent vision, distant and peripheral, with the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and adjust focus - Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals - Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail, and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments - Quality focused; able to follow all personal and food safety requirements - attendance record and team focus to meet and exceed customer expectations QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
