The Senior Writer is responsible for elevating the brand reputation of the AAMC, communicating AAMC's value to our member institutions and the public, and advancing AAMC thought leadership and strategic priorities through highly visible digital content, including news articles, op-eds, website copy, social media, and special reports. The Senior Writer will report and write comprehensive news and opinion articles on a range of topics in academic medicine. In addition to developing expertise in one or more of the AAMC's key mission areas (biomedical research, patient care, medical education), the Senior Writer will be adept at translating AAMC legislative priorities, member innovation and initiatives, and medical research and data into compelling narratives. Remote Work Eligibility This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous USCompensation Grade Range $86,955.00-$102,300.00Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations. If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
