Pathobiology and Integrative Biomedical Sciences Job Description
The College of Veterinary Medicine at MU is on a mission to educate and train outstanding clinicians and scientists, generate new knowledge, engage stakeholders, and foster economic growth, all of which promote and protect the health and welfare of animals and people. The Cummings Lab seeks an Assistant Research Professor (NTT) to join an active research laboratory seeking to better understand key neuromodulation within cardiorespiratory and autonomic neural circuits in sleep and wakefulness, and how changes in this neuromodulation can lead to diseases like obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), hypertension, and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The Cummings Lab collaborates as part of the Department of Pathobiology and Integrated Biomedical Sciences and the Dalton Cardiovascular Research Center. Successful candidates will have:
