Job Title: Lab Facilities Coordinator

Duration : 6-12 + Months

Location : Waltham, MA
Pay rate : $23-25/hr

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Site Operations & Lab Support Assistant to join our team in Waltham, MA. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our facility, supporting both office and lab environments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, moving furniture, and handling lab glassware.

Key Responsibilities:

Office & Facilities Support:

• Set up and break down meeting rooms and events, including furniture reconfiguration and catering arrangements
• Maintain stock and inventory of office and kitchen supplies
• Assist with vendor coordination, paper shredding, and plant care
• Support internal moves and space reconfigurations

Laboratory Support:

• Collect, wash, and autoclave glassware and materials
• Perform various mailroom duties and deliveries
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of lab support areas

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a facilities, lab, or office services role; lab experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player
