The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for leading a team of project managers focused on the planning, execution and oversite of high value programs coordinating activity between internal and external stakeholders. The Program Manager will take a strategic view, ensuring programs achieve their core objectives by leading a cross functional team of professionals across multiple departments.

You Will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, encouraging a culture of inclusion and collaboration to achieve flawless execution of goals large scale, complex, and/or global cross-functional programs.
  • Lead the project management team to deliver project scope by developing and completing comprehensive project plans, strictly ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for project-related issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Translate business strategies into an executable scope of work while managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Represent management at program reviews, meetings, seminars, etc.
  • Navigate through ambiguity, propose solutions, and drive to decisions.
  • Create project schedules in collaboration with other functions including, but not limited to engineering, product management, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance. Align schedules with external parties such as consultants or suppliers.
  • Have a deep understanding of projects and timelines. Identify and prioritize project deliverables with an understanding of dependencies, the critical path, and key milestones.
  • Coordinate project activities with cross-functional team members to ensure project goals and requirements are met on schedule and within budget. Holds self and project team accountable to commitments.
  • Effective critical thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges and gaps.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively. Acts when issues arise. Approaches challenges with optimism.
  • Measure, evaluate, and adjust plans in order to meet organizational goals. Prepare project status reports in order to keep management and other stakeholders informed and gain approval as needed.
  • Communicate with executive leadership clearly and concisely.
  • Enable others in the organization to lead projects by developing, utilizing, and sharing project management excellence best practices including documenting lessons learned.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Management required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 15+ years of project management experience leading transformational change as well as a variety of growth and productivity projects. Demonstrated knowledge of the new product development process.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams through influence without direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Ability to solve problems by developing creative solutions to address challenges.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills for report writing, presentations and interactions with diverse groups of people
  • The ability to work effectively within and lead a diverse team through complex projects

Budgeting: Creating and managing program budgets, allocating resources, and monitoring program expenditures.
