We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Content Associate, Studio Production to support the production of live and taped studio shows/segments. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about broadcast production and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced studio environment. You'll work closely with the Director to execute high quality content across digital, social and linear platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for studio production and broadcast media.
- 1+ years of experience (internships or freelance okay) in studio production.
- Detailed oriented, strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in high-pressure, live or taped studio environment.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or similar editing software.
- Basic knowledge of multi-cam studio production but not required; interest in learning camera cutting.
- Basic knowledge of Production Control Room (PCR) workflows, equipment, and environment.
- Exposure to or experience using rundown systems such as Inception, ENPS, iNews, or Rundown Creator is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Television Production, Media Production, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Support the Director during live and recorded studio productions by tracking proper timing of elements, segments, and video clips; communicates time cues to Director for all b-roll and SOTs.
- Support pre-production planning including organizing graphics, selecting music, and ensuring all sales elements are executed appropriately; assist pre-production in PCR.
- May assist with basic camera cutting in non-live environments to support the Director during taped productions.
- Support preparation of remote guests for studio segments, including booking links, establishing setup to ensure proper framing, audio, and video levels.
- Participate in production meetings to support the development of engaging content and provide creative input when appropriate.
- Assist in pulling archived video and help edit b-roll, highlights, teases, bumps under the direction of the Director or Producers.
- May operate teleprompter when needed.
- May need to conduct basic research to support content development, storylines and production elements.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as required by production staff, including but not limited to: printing rundowns, scripts and production schedules.
