Oversee the implementation of Network Development, Network Management, and Provider Business Solutions programs.
Manage all Provider Network activities such as planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating network-related activities Direct the activities associated with researching, policy development, and expansion of provider networks Develops the provider strategy by continuing to build and retain a comprehensive provider network, as well as demonstrating the value of the company to our publics Oversees network(s) of providers ensuring optimal levels of service and support Directs the activities associated with ensuring that only qualified doctors are allowed to participate in the doctor network Oversee HCS projects including planning, developing, and implementation to ensure all deadlines and project scopes are met Monitor performance of direct reports. Provide prompt and objective coaching in accomplishing goals and in job performance. Conduct performance reviews and recommend salary increases Prioritize, assign, and distribute work of the unit personnel to ensure responsibility is at the appropriate level and team member skills are developed to support the unit's business needs Identify, consolidate, and prioritize training needs and coordinate training programs that address the unit's business needs Monitor unit's turnover, productivity, and overall performance to ensure adequate staffing and performance that meet department standards Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for open positions within the unit to ensure most qualified candidates are selected Develop the unit budget. Monitor expenses to ensure unit costs are within established levels Evaluate workflow processes, then recommend and implement procedural and systems changes to deliver quality/legendary service to the department's customers Ensure effective communications are maintained within the unit and externally. Where appropriate, inform employees as to plans and progress Coordinate with other units/departments to facilitate special requests, resolve workflow or production issues Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 2 additional years of experience related to functional area Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports Five years project management experience Comprehensive knowledge of provider contracting and/or provider relations, as well as demonstrated ability to resolve complex provider issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills #LI-VISIONCARE Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
