8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday with occasional regional travel required for representation at conferences, as applicable. Hybrid work schedule.
Pay Rate $41,250
Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree is in communications or related field
Experience in project management, event planning, public relations, and sales/marketing preferred.
Prefer to have knowledge of the social work profession to include NASW Code of Ethics; and knowledge related to social work education to include CSWE Competencies.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Primary purpose of this position is to be coordinator of communications and outreach in the School of Social Work. Develop, implement, and manage external communication, projects, and events pertaining to the social work profession for the School of Social Work. Activities focus on: Social work student recruitment; designing promotional materials and videos; marketing the CSWE-accredited academic BSW/ MSW programs in the School of Social Work through social media; website management; planning, marketing, and executing School of Social Work events including fundraisers and conferences, adhering to guidance provided by accreditation body, the Council on Social Work Education. The Coordinator engages directly with prospective and current social work students, funders, social work alumni, campus partners, and external stakeholders. Occasional local and domestic travel required, such as for trainings.
Other Work/Responsibilities
The Coordinator may be assigned other administrative activities related to student outreach and engagement based on changing unit needs in the School of Social Work.
