We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping Clarivate's next-generation, AI-native Web of Science Research Intelligence platform-a transformational product designed to empower research institutions to accelerate innovation, measure performance, and demonstrate societal impact.

This is a unique opportunity to influence a product with global reach and long-term significance. You'll work at the intersection of technology, research strategy, and institutional needs, collaborating directly with academic and government research leaders and internal stakeholders to build solutions that matter.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing products through the full lifecycle, ideally within B2B SaaS analytics platforms.
  • Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams, customers, and partners to launch impactful products.

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • Master's degree, MBA, or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with or serving academic institutions, research offices, or government agencies.
  • Strong skills in market research, customer discovery, and competitive intelligence.
  • Expertise with data-driven quantitative analysis, metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations tools
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills-able to translate complex technical or research concepts into compelling product narratives.
  • Experience in Agile development environments and working closely with technical teams.

What will you be doing in this role?

As Senior Product Manager, you'll act as a strategic leader across the product lifecycle-from discovery to delivery to go-to-market-ensuring alignment between customer needs, business goals, and product capabilities.

Product Strategy & Definition

  • Partner with customers, internal teams, and external advisors to gather insights and shape a compelling product vision.
  • Lead ideation and define requirements, prototypes, user stories, and workflows, based on deep understanding of academic and research stakeholder needs.
  • Understand competitive landscape and bring actionable insights into product planning and prioritization.

Customer Collaboration & Research Programs

  • Lead Development Partner and Early Adopter programs to test, validate, and refine product features.
  • Build deep relationships with research administrators and office leaders to champion their needs and feedback.

Go-to-Market & Enablement

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to define go-to-market strategy, segment priorities, product positioning, and pricing models.
  • Drive internal release readiness and sales enablement-developing launch collateral, messaging frameworks, and training content.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a connector across UX, technology, marketing, and business teams to align execution with strategy.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and market performance to internal and external stakeholders.

You'll be part of a forward-thinking product team at Clarivate focused on delivering research analytics solutions for the global academic and government markets. We thrive on customer feedback and prioritize products that reflect the real-world needs of researchers, research offices, and institutional leaders.

You'll work closely with a distributed team of product managers, analysts, and engineers, as well as partners across marketing, sales, customer success, and support. Our mission is to build intuitive, data-rich tools that empower institutions to make smarter decisions and elevate their impact.

Hours of Work

  • Full-time permanentposition primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
  • Hybrid position working 2-3 days/week on-site
  • Must live within a commutable distance to one of our US office locations: Philadelphia, PA, Ann Arbor, MI, Alexandria, VA or Overland Park, KS
