DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will provide clerical support to the Administrative Officer 1 in a veterans extended care facility. Responsibilities of this position include preparing admissions schedules, announcements, making copies, and distributing admissions information to all involved in the admission process. You may also assist in conducting tours to potential residents, families, and/or responsible parties as needed for the Admissions Coordinator.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
