DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Licensing Representative, you will be responsible for conducting inspections for the purpose of enforcing state laws governing the licensing of personal care homes and assisted living residences. Your duties will include interviewing home and residence residents and staff, medical professionals, and law enforcement officials to gather information and reviewing documents generated by the homes and residences, human services and law enforcement agencies, and medical facilities. In this position, you will plan and direct licensing inspections in collaboration with supervisory staff and other licensing representatives. You can expect to prepare licensing packets and maintain a working knowledge of state laws and regulations, policies and procedures, and management directives related to licensing. Additionally, you will recommend license and enforcement action based on inspection findings and professional judgment. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This is a home headquartered position which will require you to be headquartered at your home and travel to worksites in Somerset, Cambria, Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Franklin, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Dauphin, York, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties to complete your work duties. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Central Region (Somerset, Cambria, Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Franklin, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Dauphin, York, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties) by the time of hire.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
