Primary Purpose The Senior Executive Compensation and Benefits Advisor administers executive compensation and benefits programs, including base salary, annual and long-term incentives and nonqualified benefit plans for Sempra and its operating units. Provides consulting to Business Units, Human Resources, and executives regarding executive compensation and benefit issues. May participate in broad-based compensation projects and initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities
- Executes the administration of executive compensation and benefits programs, including base pay adjustments, equity awards, annual executive incentive compensation plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, nonqualified pension plans, and other executive benefits.
- Manages the compilation and preparation of executive compensation tables included in the Sempra proxy statement and other regulatory filings related to executive compensation and benefit matters.
- Prepares communication materials and interfaces with executives, financial planners and HR partners to help ensure that participants understand the plans.
- Participates in the development and implementation of executive compensation plans, programs and processes in support of corporate vision and strategy and assists with the preparation of materials for periodic meetings of the Compensation and Talent Development Committee of Sempra's Board of Directors.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
