Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Facilities Unit Leader to support incident response operations by coordinating the identification, setup, maintenance, and demobilization of critical facilities. This role will work closely with SERT Logistics, Division Attorneys, and partner agencies to establish and manage facilities such as ICPs, LSAs, PODs, supplemental warehouses, Bases, and Camps as needed during emergency operations.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Identify suitable locations for Incident Command Posts (ICPs), Logistical Staging Areas (LSAs), Points of Distribution (PODs), warehouses, Bases, Camps, and other facilities required by SERT





  • Coordinate with Division Attorneys and SERT Logistics to establish Lessee agreements with property owners





  • Ensure facility readiness by coordinating with partners for setup, operations, and demobilization





  • Coordinate wrap-around services including food, hydration, sanitation, showers, sleeping accommodations, and staging areas





  • Monitor facility operations to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with mission needs





  • Support the tracking and documentation of facility-related expenditures and agreements





  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address facility-related issues during incident response





  • Ensure demobilization activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner




Basic Qualifications:




  • 1+ years of work experience in facilities management, emergency logistics, or a related role





  • Ability to identify, assess, and coordinate use of facilities for operational support





  • Familiarity with lease agreements and wrap-around service coordination





  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills





  • Knowledge of ICS or EOC operations in emergency or disaster environments





  • Must be a U.S. citizen




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience supporting emergency response operations related to facility setup and demobilization





  • Knowledge of state and federal emergency management logistics practices





  • Experience coordinating with legal, logistics, and infrastructure stakeholders





  • Proficiency in tracking systems and facility management tools

  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)





  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable





  • Clearance Required: None





  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment




Working Environment:

The work environment will include field, office, and EOC settings depending on assignment. Duties involve setup and inspection of various facility types, sometimes in outdoor or austere conditions. Travel regularly includes locations throughout the continental United States and its territories. The position may require extended work periods beyond 12 hours per day.
