Summary:

In this role, you will manage a team, providing strategic and tactical direction for sales, sales support and service focused on driving revenue and value to members. You will be responsible for leading and driving the strategic direction of the Regional Client Executive teams by providing sales initiatives and customer service for members including building strategic plans to address their needs. You will incorporate Vizient solutions to drive revenue and value to the customer. This role covers a northeastern territory extending from Indiana to Maine.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Regional Client Executive (RCE) team create and execute strategic member account plans and business reviews that drive partnership growth, with clear follow-up action plans, high-value project implementation, and a strong focus on customer service.

  • Ensure RCE team executes sign-up activities and handle all documentation after Sales gains agreement

  • Develop relationships with new business prospects and recruit new members in the region.

  • Conduct Executive level sales calls (CEO, COO, CFO).

  • Manage overall revenue goal, including both maintenance and new revenue growth.

  • Develop and monitor annual budget, revenue and services goals and ensure necessary plans are in place to meet goals.

  • Interact with sales leaders and customers to identify and meet customer GPO needs.

  • Collaborate with RCEs in closing business with members.

  • Manage relationships with state hospital associations and other channel partners.

  • Interact with and report team progress to leadership including Zone GM for the assigned territories.

  • Oversee RFP process and review final documents.

  • Assess comprehensive analytics to influence recommendations and decision making.

  • Serve as an internal SME and participate in Vizient training and independently apply Vizient analytic tools to be utilized by the member.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 10 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry required.

  • Proven track record of successful sales and negotiations within the healthcare industry required

  • Experience interacting with executives and influencing decisions within the C-suite level required.

  • Proven track record in leading sales or account management support teams desired.

  • Ability to lead and prioritize, plan, and execute on critical initiatives.

  • Demonstrated track record for driving operational efficiency within Enterprise Account Management teams.

  • Candidate should live within the northeastern region of the U.S.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
