State Department Federal Credit Union is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the organization, planning, and execution of various programs and initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting the Project Manager throughout all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure. The Project Coordinator will also support the development and maintenance of project budgets, contribute to cost-benefit analyses, manage project plans for assigned programs, and assist in preparing project funding proposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Support all assigned projects.
  • Manage the reporting of all departmental projects.
  • Back-up support for the Project Leader (conducting meetings, tasks follow-ups, and project updates).
  • Guide Project Leader from Initiate to Closing phase.
  • Assist with Business Cases, presentations, research, cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments and other related documents.
  • Assist in the Project Management processes and tools.
  • Assist during all Project Team meetings by creating agendas and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Gather all project tasks, monitor and control all project costs and record relevant information in MS Project Online.
  • Provide PMO Manager with project updates to include risks, issues, progress, team players, successes, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Required Skills and Competencies:



  • Associates Degree with two years of Project Management experience, or equivalent work experience
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using project management software for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Experience in cost-benefit analyses and tracking project costs
  • Experience developing project management tools
