Protective Security Officer (Lieutenant) - FPS IRS MASS Pay Rate: $36.11 1 Full Time and 2 Part Time vacancies available. Part Time: Must be available overnights, weekends, holidays and to cover open hours. Objective Diversified Protection Corporation (DPC) is seeking a professional and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations under contract with the Federal Protective Services (FPS) at the IRS Facility. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring adherence to company and government policies, maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring the safety and security of the site. Essential Functions Read and understand the English language to effectively carry out applied printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials. Have a command of both the written and spoken English language to properly communicate in person or via electronic devices (telephone and radio) with co-workers and the general public. Maintaining a professional, tactful and courteous demeanor under stressful situations, security personnel routinely encounter. Be able to compose precise short paragraphs, written reports, and other reports in the English language as necessary. Job Duties * Supervise and manage armed security officers during assigned shifts ensuring punctuality, uniform compliance, and proper post coverage. * Ensure all officers are properly briefed and equipped. * Conduct post inspections, and regular patrols to maintain operational standards. * Prepare schedules, fill shifts. * Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and escalations. * Review and submit shift reports, activity logs, and incident documentation as required by DPC and FPS * Ensure officers are properly trained and supported in their duties. * Provide corrective action to officers as needed. * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as company and government policies. * Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. * Maintain awareness of evolving threats, site-specific protocols, and client expectations. Candidate Qualifications: * Must possess a valid Driver's License and Firearm's License to carry per state requirements. * Must pass a DHS background investigation, training, qualifications, and medical/drug screening. * Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity. * High school diploma or GED required, relevant coursework or degree in related field preferred. * U.S. Citizenship required. * Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays and open hours as needed. * Provide excellent communication, leadership, and conflic |
